JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

A Jacksonville man who pleaded guilty to 30 counts of fraud was sentenced Thursday to 15 years in prison.

Rolland Allotey, 39, was charged with multiple counts of fraudulent use of a credit card, defrauding a financial institution, and criminal use of personal identification.

After stealing identities from several victims, Allotey used those identities to open bank accounts and credit cards under the victims' names.

Allotey then created fake drivers licenses that contained his picture with the victims' names in order to use the fraudulent credit cards and to deposit checks.

Allotey arranged for those credit cards and records to be mailed to various units in the same apartment complex where he lived.
