In March 2014 an officer with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office was at the Eureka Gardens apartment complex when he heard multiple gunshots fired nearby.

The officer saw Solomon firing his gun into a crowd of people, then took off running throwing the gun to the ground.

Solomon was detained after a brief foot chase.

A bag of cocaine was found on Solomon at the time.
