JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man is recovering Friday after he was shot in the leg just after midnight on Ken Night Drive, off Moncrief Road in the city's Ribault neighborhood, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.
At around 12:51 a.m., police found the victim, who had made it about a block away to the Washington Heights Apartments. The man was transported to UF Health Jacksonville with non-life-threatening injuries, officials said

The man told police that he was shot o nKen Knight Drive by a person in a gold SUV, who then drove away.
Police did not have any information about the shooter.
