JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – One man is dead after being stabbed at a restaurant in Northwest Jacksonville Monday evening.
Deputies said the stabbing happened at Ever Ready Restaurant and Lounge on Lem Turner Road.
The victim went outside of the restaurant after being stabbed and ran about a block before collapsing. Bystanders said they saw the man and immediately called 911, according to Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
The man was transported to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Investigators said the victim was stabbed after an alternation with at least one other person. There were multiple witnesses that were there during the argument, but they left the scene before deputies arrived.
Police said they are looking for a suspect, but do not have a description yet.
