Police said the robber demanded money without displaying a gun, then fled quickly with the money, heading north. No one was injured.

Some witnesses thought there was a standoff in the bank after seeing one customer leaving with hands up and walking backwards.

It appeared police responded to the possibility of a standoff, however, there was none.

The robber is described as a white man, 40-50 years old, thin and with salt and pepper hair. He was wearing a dark shirt and pants. No vehicle was seen.

Anyone with any information about the robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
