Political Experience: I served on the SAB Planning and Zoning Board from 2004 through April 2008, until employment took me to Richmond, VA working for SunTrust Mortgage Company. Upon return, I was re-appointed to the Planning and Zoning Board in November 2013, and I am currently serving as vice-chair.

What do you see as the top three issues in this race?

  • Beach Re-nourishment. St. Augustine Beach has a beautiful, wide, and accessible beach. Protecting this natural gift is a high priority.
  • Protecting the quality of life for SAB residents and resident business owners, while welcoming visitors to our quaint beach town and making SAB a destination which can be enjoyed.
  • Providing a workable solution for access to the beach, our businesses, restaurants all the events which SAB has to offer without undue traffic congestion and parking issues. This may require a joint public/private partnership among all stakeholders such as SAB, the City of St. Augustine, the county, state, and Tourism Council.
