The Jacksonville Beach Police Department has found a missing 17-year-old girl after linking her to another runaway from St. Johns County.
Police responded to Colonies Drive around 10:15 p.m. Tuesday in reference to a runaway. Officers were told Nicole Thompson left her home Monday night at 7 p.m. She was reportedly meeting friends and was last seen at the McDonald's on Marsh Landing Parkway and Third Street South.
Thompson's parents believed she would be home for her 10 p.m. curfew the next day, Tuesday evening, but she did not come home, according to police.
Since that time, detectives said they developed information linking Thompson to 17-year-old Anthony Mills, who was also a runaway.
Police said Thursday morning both had been found safe.
