There were three people home at the time of the fire: a man, a woman and a teen girl, but they were all able to get out before crews arrived, according to Jeremy Robshaw with SJCFR.

Firefighters from SJCFR and the City Fire Department are currently working to contain and extinguish the fire.

Robshaw said a majority of the damage seems to be in the attic above the garage with excess smoke damage throughout the home.
