Jacksonville Beach are looking for lifeguard recruits

JACKSONVILLE, Fl – The Jacksonville Beach Lifeguards agency is looking for a recruits for their annual recruit classes.

The agency has a low membership and intends to spread the word about the unique volunteer lifesaving agency and how beneficial it can be to be a part of a one-of-a-kind organization. 

Maxwell Ervanian, officer of prevention and training at Jacksonville Beach Ocean Rescue, said that recruits will train in a 12-week extensive program that will prepare recruits for the beach as well as basic life support, CPR and the history of the organization.

Orientation for the winter recruit class will be on January 15 at 10 a.m. at the Jacksonville Beach Lifeguard Station.
