JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Morning Show heads to the beach Friday, with a live broadcast from Fernandina Beach, Neptune Beach and St. Augustine.
The team will highlight everything beachgoers need to know for an enjoyable experience throughout the summer. Channel 4's Jennifer Waugh will talk with local lifeguards, firefighters and law enforcement officials about the most significant issues facing them during the summer, including lost children, jellyfish stings and thefts on the beach.
The Morning Show team will also head to Jacksonville International Airport to talk about how to best navigate security lines for those planning to fly over the summer. Channel 4's Bruce Hamilton will highlight a program that offers towing for boats who become disabled in the water, while Rebecca Barry head out on a boat for a fishing excursion.
In Fernandina Beach, Staci Spanos and Melanie Lawson will highlight two swimming programs, both designed with children in mind. They, along with Rebecca Barry, will also take a look at fun summer toys for kids, visit a local coffee shop and take viewers inside a local fudge shop.
In Saint Augustine, Nikki Kimbleton and Tarik Minor will take viewers to some of the top new fun spots in the area. Tarik also will go behind-the-scenes of a local surfing class for kids and Nikki will show us how a bestselling author is investing his money and time into St. Augustine.
