JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Theresa Hucks said her son Glenn Hucks was wonderful, caring and trusting, and she believes that trust is ultimately what led to his death.

"He was a very loving, caring, giving, compassionate child, too trusting," Theresa Hucks said.  "You see the circumstances that happen being too trusting with some people."

According to police, Glenn Hucks was seen leaving a Riverside club with Jeremy Pittman at around midnight Jan. 17. That was the last time he was seen alive.

Late last week a hunter found Hucks' body in Camden County and now Pittman has been arrested and charged with the murder.

Glenn's mother said she's still in a state of shock.

"Actually, I am not dealing with it too well," she said. "It's really, I am just, I feel like I am in a bad dream that hopefully I am going to wake up and it's going to be all over, you know, my son will still be here."

Hucks' mother lives in Atlanta, but she said his body is still in Savannah, and she's not sure how she's going to pay for his funeral.

"I am facing a lot trying to get him brought from Savannah to here, and I am really having financial difficulties with this too," she said. "I had to get him cremated because his body was so decomposed. It's going to cost me $3,000 to get everything, and the service, everything taken care of."

Theresa said she hopes to have Glenn Hucks' funeral taken care of by Thursday or Friday of this week.
