Deputies said three months ago, the Drug and Vice Unit answered the concerns of multiple residents who contacted Crime Stoppers and the Sheriff's Office to report possible drug activity at the home.

During the investigation, detectives determined the home was a popular location for the sale and use of narcotics. Deputies said undercover detectives made multiple purchases of crack cocaine from Steven Sawyer, 19, who was already on probation for drug offenses, and Lonnie Brinson, 22, at the home.

Detectives obtained a search warrant for the mobile home as a result of the investigation. Deputies said as the teams were approaching the home to execute the warrant, Sawyer was seen leaving the area with Kyle Knever, 29.

Sawyer and Knever were taken into custody when members of the Street Crimes Unit conducted a stop on the vehicle, deputies said.

Sawyer was found to be in possession of two oxycodone pills and 79.5 grams of marijuana packaged for sale, according to the Sheriff's Office.

As the vehicle was being stopped, the SWAT and Rifle Security teams continued to the home and completed the execution of the search warrant. Deputies said detectives identified Angela Sawyer, 43, and Kevin Branson, 52, as occupants of the home.

Inside the home, investigators discovered four grams of crack cocaine and multiple items of drug paraphernalia, such a drug syringes and crack pipes, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Putnam County code enforcement officers condemned the home, deputies said.

Steven Sawyer was charged with the sale of crack cocaine, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of Oxycodone and violation of drug offender probation. Deputies said he remains in the Putnam County Jail without bond.

Branson, who is charged with possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia, remains in the county jail on a bond of $6,500, the Sheriff's Office said.

Angela Sawyer remains in jail on a bond of $504 for possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputies said Knever was charged with felony driving on a suspended license and remains incarcerated on a bond of $12,000.

Brinson was not present at the time of the warrant service, and he remains wanted on an active warrant for the sale of cocaine, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said anyone with information on Brinson's whereabouts may remain anonymous and be eligible for reward by calling Crime Stoppers of Northeast Florida at 888-277-8477 or the Putnam County Sheriff's Office at 386-329-0801.
