Nassau Ball Coach Arrested, More Sought After Brawl

One man was arrested after a bench-clearing brawl at a Nassau County spring-league youth football game last weekend and police they're looking for several other people involved in the fight.

Derrick Edmonson Jr., 25, a coach of one of the teams, was arrested Wednesday night at his home in Jacksonville and charged with aggravated battery.

Nassau County authorities told Channel 4 that Edmonson punched a 12-year-old player several times after a questionable call at a game at the Stein-Thompson Sports Complex in Hilliard on Saturday. The boy injured player was treated and released from a hospital.

Anyone who was at the game and may have home video of what happened is asked to contact Channel 4.
