Duval County is holding a free luncheon Thursday, Oct. 15 for elementary schools.  The parent or guardian of children who get school lunches will get a free meal.

Students also have a chance to win an opportunity for a chef to come visit their school.  All they have to do is take a selfie with a parent or guardian during Thursday's free luncheon.  The students then have to tweet the picture tagging @DuvalBrainFood to be entered in the contest.

There are also prizes for older students to win.  The students must tweet pictures of their favorite school lunches.

The National School Lunch Program has been around for more than 60 years.  30-million children benefit from the program daily.
