ST JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – A Navy sailor out of Mayport has been found guilty for using the Internet to try to have sex with a child.

Officials say Christopher Holt, 19, was convicted for soliciting a 13-year-old girl.

Holt was found guilty on one count of using a computer to seduce, solicit or lure a child, one count of unlawful use of a two way communication device, and one count of traveling to meet a minor after use of a computer to solicit a child.

Holt's trial lasted a total of two days. He now faces up to 15 years in prison.

Holt was one of 15 people arrested in March during Operation No Soliciting. Detectives posed as juveniles in online chat rooms and arranged to have sex with the suspects.

All 15 arrested are now facing felony charges.
