Neighbors help woman escape mobile home fire

"I walked out of my house for some odd reason. I don't know why, I looked right next door and there was a fire underneath her trailer," neighbor Nichole Layton said. "I yelled for her. I said 'Babe!' And then I ran over while I was on the phone with 911. I banged on her door, and I heard her come out from the bedroom, because it was literally right underneath where she was."

The fire chief says at this point the fire started under the trailer. Officials say the woman lives alone and does not cook for herself.

The fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire, and the Red Cross is helping the woman who lived in the home.
