New Florida unemployment numbers to be released

Numbers reflect the sunshine state's economy

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -

The state is expected to release the unemployment numbers today for Florida. The numbers will show Florida's standings for the month of November.

The numbers could provide insight on the Florida's economy. It could show if the state's economic recovery is picking up.

October's number was 6.7% for the state's jobless rate. 

According to October's standing, even though many are still looking for jobs, Florida led the nation for job growth. Just in the month nearly 45,000 jobs were added.

According to payroll provider ADP, the state has already seen a nearly 20,000 job increase. ADP says the increase of 19,450 jobs were added earlier this year.

This number is conducted different from the numbers official to be released today. Government agencies conducted a survey to determine Florida's unemployment rate for November's standings.
