POD FM has partnered with Kingdom Plaza Mall to offer a day of free giveaways to coincide with the station's launch.
"Organizers will be handing out back to school supplies. We will have a talent showcase, a health fair with health screenings and information. a bowling tournament from the mall’s King Pins Bowling Center and, a free meal from the Soul Food Bistro to the first 100 persons in attendance," said Davis.
Organizers say “Positivity on Demand” will be Jacksonville's new digital station. The urban contemporary adult format can be heard from its stream.
"WPOD Media launched in 2012. We are a company dedicated to providing quality programming and positive content via digital radio, promotional events, social media and community involvement. Expect to hear a wide variety of music from R & B to Gospel, but keep in mind, it's all positive," said Davis.
