No one hurt in house fire on Lenox Avenue

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department is investigating a fire that badly damaged the front of a house on the Westside on Monday.

Officials said the fire started shortly before 9:30 p.m. on Lenox Avenue just went of Cassat Avenue.

The house was vacant, and no one was hurt.

All four lanes of Lenox Avenue were shut down at one point, but they have all reopened.
