Gas leak forces closures near Cecil Commerce Pkwy.

Jacksonville Fire-Rescue responds to scene leak

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A gas leak reported about 9 a.m. Saturday forced forced parks of Normandy Boulevard to close.

Jacksonville Fire and Rescue were called to investigate the leak.

Some eastbound and westbound lanes of Normandy Boulevard were closed from Cecil Commerce Pkwy to New World and Sarroca Lane, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.  

There is no word on what caused the leak.
