Officials: Unloaded gun found at Westside High

VIDEO: Students gathered for orientation in the newly named Westside High School. The Duval County School Board voted to change the name of the former Nathan B. Forrest High School last year to stay away from controversy surrounding the former name.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – An unloaded gun was found at Westside High School on Wednesday in a student's locker, and a student was arrested, according to a spokeswoman with Duval County Public Schools.

The gun was found by school officials, but it's unclear what time of the day the gun was found. The incident is still under investigation.
