One person shot; found in parking lot of Escape Show Bar

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Violent Crimes Task Force with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that happened at Escape Show Bar in Arlington.

Sgt. CJ Potter said police received at call at 11:30 a.m. Saturday about a person with a head injury.

Police said when they arrived a Hispanic man in his 20s said he had been shot in the head.

The man was taken by Jacksonville Fire Rescue to UF Health Jacksonville with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police have not determined if the shooting took place inside the Escape Show Bar or in the parking lot. The club was not open at the time of the incident.
