PALATKA, Fla. – A Putnam County woman pleaded no contest Wednesday in the stabbing death of her 76-year-old husband and was sentenced to 40 years in prison.
Deputies said Ivory Harris stabbed Clark Harris Jr. in April when an argument in their St. Johns Avenue home turned violent. Clark Harris was transported to Putnam County Medical Center, where he died.

An autopsy found that he died of multiple stab wounds not consistent with any justifiable use of force and his death was ruled a homicide.
After detectives conducted additional interviews with Ivory Harris, she was arrested and booked into the Putnam County jail.
