Pastor seeks to end male passivity

Pastor Craig Groeschel speaking at Celebration Church

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Craig Groeschel, pastor of Life Church in Oklahoma, the second largest church in America, will speak at Celebration Church in Jacksonville about the male passivity epidemic.

Groeschel authored the book "Fight" and believes today's men have become too comfortable with "turning the other" cheek.

"Men who are strong, men who are world-changers, men who are truly warriors are men who can honestly admit their limitations," writes Groeschel. "I want to redefine the way you think about what it means to be a warrior. Being a true warrior is about knowing the source of true strength. It's about knowing your own weaknesses and turning to God to empower you to be the man he made you to be."

Groeschel will speak at the Celebration Church Arena on Monday, Oct. 21st.  Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. and the service begins at 7 p.m.  The church is located at 9555 R.G. Skinner Parkway.

The event is free and open to the public for men only.
