JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A Dollar General on Atlantic Boulevard was robbed Thursday afternoon, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Police said a masked robber with a small-caliber, semi-automatic handgun stole money from the store at 10230 Atlantic Blvd. just before 4 p.m. Thursday.

No one was injured in the robbery, but police did put Lone Star Elementary School on a temporary lockdown because of the incident.
Police said the suspected robber is believed to be a man and was wearing tan shorts and a dark colored shirt. Police said they have a person of interest in custody and are questioning him related to the case.
