Police: Grandmother Killed By Thieves

70-Year-Old Woman's Body Found By Grandson Last Week

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police said Thursday a 70-year-old grandmother was killed by someone who broke into her home and robbed her.

Lola Faulk's body was discovered a week ago by her grandson.

Now, Jacksonville police said they need your help to find the person or persons responsible for her death.

It's something neighbors said they have known all along, and now police are calling the woman's death a murder.

Police swarmed Faulk's northeast Jacksonville home just hours after Faulk's grandson found her body.

Neighbors said the body was wrapped up in something.

Neighbors also said Faulk was a good woman who kept to herself.

Neighbors said Faulk's husband died just months ago, and she was living in the home with her grandson.

Police aren't saying how she was killed, but they said it appears to be a home invasion robbery.
