Police impersonator arrested in Flagler County

Used blue light to pull victim over

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – A Palm Coast man is behind bars in Flagler County Wednesday after being arrested for impersonating a police officer and using a blue light to pull people over, police said.

The Flagler County Sheriff's Office arrested 42-year-old Shaun Eric Fuller on a warrant issued in Putnam County Tuesday afternoon, and he is being held on a $50,008 bond.

According to police reports, a Palatka woman said she was pulled over by a car with a blue light on the dashboard on Highway 207 and was approached by Fuller, who said that he was a law enforcement officer.

Fuller then reportedly warned the woman about a perceived traffic violation and drove off.

The woman contacted detectives and gave them the description of Fuller's car, which was spotted by a deputy in Palatka who pulled Fuller over and identified him.

The woman identified Fuller in a photographic lineup, and deputies arrested him.

Police said that there may be more victims who were stopped by Fuller in Putnam, St. Johns and Flagler counties and are asking anyone with a similar experience to contact Detective Donny Jordan at the Putnam County Sheriff's Office, at 386-329-0823.
