A JSO officer said in a briefing that the girl is in critical condition at the hospital, which prompted them to call in a homicide unit.

Neighbors who were outside when paramedics arrived told News4Jax that they saw the girl being carried into the ambulance with her parents.

“Somebody was carrying the girl -- the baby girl. I just saw that, and they put her in the ambulance,” neighbor Vunz Nuam said.

No information was given regarding the condition of the girl, how she sustained her injuries, or if foul play was involved.
