JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville sheriff's Office is investigating what it calls a suspicious death in the Riverside area.
Shortly after 8 a.m. a walker on the river walk called 911 after discovering the body of a black man floating in a retention pond behind the St. Joe Building.

Police say the man is in his mid 60s. JSO says at this time there are no signs of foul play, and the man may have accidentally fallen into the pond. His identity is unknown at this time.
The medical examiner's office will provide a cause of death after an autopsy is done.
