Police: Man carjacked by 3 suspects with 2 kids

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – An 81-year-old man was carjacked last month by a man and two women who had two children with them, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.

According to police, the victim was leaving the Taco Bell at 5045 Normandy Blvd. on Sept. 17 when the adults approached him and asked for a ride home, because it was raining.

The adults and children got into the man's dark blue Dodge Ram pickup truck and the adults directed him south on Cassat Avenue and told him to turn onto Quan Drive.

The victim told police that's when the man pointed a pistol to the victim's head and forced him out of the truck. The suspects stole the truck and left westbound on Quan Drive.

The truck, a 1998 model with Florida tag Y7RMA, has not been recovered.

Surveillance photos of the people suspected in the carjacking have been released.
