JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 64-year-old man died Thursday, a week after suffering what appeared to be minor injuries in a crash at Old Kings and Sunbeam roads, police said.
On Aug. 20, Michael Daigle was driving south on Old Kings road, approaching Sunbeam Road, and failed to stop when the vehicle in front of him stopped for a traffic light, police said.

Daigle's car rear-ended the other vehicle, but the crash appeared minor and Daigle suffered minor injuries, police said. He was visibly shaken and complained of a neck injury, so he was taken to a local hospital, police said.
He died Aug. 27, and the Medical Examiner ruled his death was caused by injuries suffered in the crash.
