JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating after a man walked into St. Vincent's Hospital on with an apparent gunshot wound to his leg.
JSO talked briefly with the media outside of St. Vincent's Hospital in Riverside Monday morning.

According to police, a man was driven to the hospital around 6 a.m. with a gunshot to his leg. Police said his friend drove him there after the victim showed up at the friend's house in the 4800 block of Vermont Road in the Moncrief area.
Police said the man was shot at least one time and has non-life-threatening injuries. Police said the man is not cooperating with police and it was unclear how or why the victim was shot.
