HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – A Domino's pizza delivery driver shot and killed a robber in Hollywood early Wednesday morning, police said.
The shooting was reported at a shopping center off Hollywood Boulevard and North 58th Avenue.
Hollywood police said two men wearing ski masks went into a Domino's, where they were shot by a delivery driver.
Police are searching for a second robber who ran away and is possibly wounded.
The delivery driver was not injured in the shooting.
A man, whose girlfriend's daughter was working inside the pizzeria at the time, said he commends the delivery driver for his quick action.
"I'm glad he was armed (and) able to protect them, or it could have been worse," said Miguel Nieves.
