JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville police released on Tuesday surveillance images of two cars in connection with an October murder on the city's Westside.

Investigators said they now believe he was murdered.

In hopes of identifying a person wanted in connection with his murder, police released photos of two vehicles that they said are connected to the crime.

Residents in the area told News4Jax that they're glad police are still investigating.

"I know the cars are there. They always come to the park. It's always the same ones. You can see what they're doing and police have come more since then, but they can't do anything to the people sitting in their car because they don't do anything. What can I do?" said Randy Duncan, who lives near the park.

Overall, residents said, they feel that the neighborhood is safe, saying there is a bus stop as well as the park that children frequent every day.

But neighbors also said they do see a lot of suspicious activity, which is why they believe it could be difficult for police to find the two cars.

"(There's) practices and games, so a lot of traffic comes in and out," said Betty Curvat, who lives nearby. "I know a lot of drug deals go on across the street and, hopefully, they can start watching this area a little bit closer."

Anyone with information or who recognizes the pictured vehicles is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 904-630-0500 or email JSOCrimeTips@jaxsheriff.org. To remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS.
