Police: Sandollar meat burglar arrested

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man who police said stole more than $600 in meats from the Sandollar Restaurant and Marine on the Northside last month has been arrested.

Officers began investigating the burglary about 4:30 p.m. Jan. 15 at the restaurant in the 9700 block of Heckscher Drive.

Police said surveillance video showed Steven Plyler taking a large package of meat and placing it in what appeared to be a Jeep Wrangler before driving off.

Investigators said they had reason to believe the Jeep may have been stolen.
