Police search for gun-wielding bank robber

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police are searching for a man who robbed a Bank of America on Merchants Way near Argyle Forest Boulevard on Saturday.

Police said the robber (pictured above holding a gun) is described as a white man, 35 to 45 years old, 5 feet, 8 inches to 5 feet tall, weighing 170 to 180 pounds, with light brown hair and facial hair. He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, blue jeans and sunglasses.

Police said the man entered the bank before noon Saturday, presented the teller with a note, showed a gun and demanded money. The teller complied with the note and handed the man money, and he fled the bank on foot.
