Police search for shooting suspect on Eastside

One victim, shot in neck, has non-life-threatening injuries

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – One person was shot during an argument at 3000 Bennett St. on Friday, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

During an argument between a group of men, one person pulled a gun and began shooting, police said.

Multiple shots were fired, and one victim was shot in the neck and transported to UF Health with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

JSO is still looking for the shooter and the investigation is ongoing.
