Police search for woman in Lowe's robbery

PALM COAST, Fla. – Deputies in Flagler County are on the lookout Monday for a woman who they said stole from a Lowe's last Tuesday in Palm Coast.

According to the loss prevention manager at the store, the woman walked into the flooring department and started putting items into a black-and-white striped purse.

Police said that as the woman was trying to leave the store she was confronted by employees and began yelling before dropping her purse and running to a waiting vehicle.

Officials said the woman was a white female about 5 feet 3 inches tall, with long brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black-and-white striped shirt and blue jean capri pants. She was seen getting into a gold, four-door, Toyota Camry with New Jersey license plate B85BTV.

The loss prevention manager at Lowe's said the woman stole $293.28 worth of items from the store which were recovered when the woman dropped her purse and took off.
