JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A woman was accidentally shot in the leg at an Arlington home Friday afternoon, according to Jacksonville police.
Officers were called to the 5200 block of Burdette Road just before 2 p.m.

Police said the woman picked up her husband's pants without knowing his gun was still in the pocket. The gun went off and shot her in her leg.
The woman was taken to Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The gun was a small caliber weapon, police said.
