What do you see as the top three issues in this race?
1. Keeping the citizens of Baker County safe is the top issue. The standards of excellence we have developed, must be continued.
2. We must work together in an informed way to preserve our potential for the future while protecting our citizens and reducing costs. A complete understanding of the financial structure of our facility's operation is necessary.
3. The work required of a Sheriff in the 21st century requires advanced Law Enforcement education, training, and experience. The world is dangerous today. Being prepared is critical.

How can you help voters in a way that others running for this office cannot?
My role in the leadership of the Baker County Sheriff's Office has given me the in depth understanding and experience needed to serve as Sheriff. I am accustomed to working with our citizens and providing the personal contact and concern our citizens expect. I have developed the training programs and working relationships with contacts in the State to make us ready for any crisis. I hold the credentials needed for affective leadership. I can be counted on to know what to do.

What would you hope to be remembered for accomplishing after serving in this office?
I would like my accomplishments to reflect a well developed up to date, advanced law enforcement agency. I would hope to be remembered after my tenure, as a friend to the people and a Sheriff who could always be counted on, no matter the challenge!
