"The real cornerstone of our economy is small business," Crenshaw said. "Seventy five percent of all the new jobs in our country get created by small businesses, just like this. So for me to be here, to see first-hand what's going on, to see the role that they play in getting our country moving again, creating more jobs, that's important."

Crenshaw, a Republican, represents the 4th Congressional District.

Crenshaw said the biggest project he's worked on with local officials is bringing more ships to Mayport, which stimulates the economy.
