JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A third Republican has opened a campaign account to run in the state House district held by Rep. Reggie Fullwood, a Jacksonville Democrat who faces a federal indictment on wire-fraud and tax charges.
Daniel Evans opened an account Wednesday to run in Duval County's House District 13, joining fellow Republicans Darren Gardner and David Lee Robertson, who entered the race this month, according to the state Division of Elections website.

Fullwood is the only Democrat who has opened an account for the race, though his campaign-finance information from this year has not been posted on the Division of Elections website.
Federal prosecutors announced last month that Fullwood, a three-term lawmaker, had been indicted on 10 counts of wire fraud and four counts of failure to file federal income-tax returns.
Among other things, the charges alleged that Fullwood had used campaign funds for personal expenses.
In South Florida, meanwhile, Homestead Republican Lynda Bell opened an account this week to run for the open House District 118 seat.
Bell is the sixth candidate seeking the seat, which is being vacated by Rep. Frank Artiles, a Miami Republican who is running for the Senate.
Former state House member and Congressman David Rivera, a Miami Republican attempting a political comeback, has dominated fundraising in the race.
Rivera collected $26,049 in April, bringing his overall total to $71,124, according to a newly filed finance report. He also has loaned $50,000 to the campaign.
