JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – One person was hurt after a truck crashed into an apartment complex near Mayport Wednesday morning, according to the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department.
Just before 8 a.m. JFRD was dispatched to an apartment complex on Wonderwood Lane and Wonderwood Drive in reference to a crash with injuries.

A JFRD spokesperson said a small pump truck towing a 16-foot trailer jackknifed and lost control on Wonderwood Lane and crashed into an apartment complex.
JFRD said during the crash, the holding tank flew off and hit a pedestrian. The pedestrian did not sustain any life-threatening injuries.
JFRD said a special ops crew was sent to the scene to look at the apartment unit to find out what type of structural damage was done.
