CRESCENT CITY, Fla. – A Crescent City man died early Saturday morning after veering off the road and striking a tree, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Frank Tiedeman, 53, was riding in a 1969 dune buggy style Volkswagen around 1:30 a.m. on Beecher Springs Road in Putnam County.

For unknown reasons, Tiedeman veered off the road, flipping his vehicle.
Tiedeman's vehicle struck a tree. The impact ejected him from the vehicle and he died of his injuries.
Tiedeman was not wearing a seat belt, according to the FHP report.
