JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – About 40 residents in San Marco were without water after a water main break Monday.
JEA said a contractor hit an 8-inch water line at Hendricks Avenue and Cedar Street around midday.

The water was under control and no longer flowing a short time later, leaving the residents without water.
Crews were working to fix it, though it was unclear how long that would take.
No boil water advisory was immediately issued.
