The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office released information this week about safety measures and traffic patterns affecting all the events Saturday and Sunday.

Police said people attending events in the Sports Complex, including two Jacksonville Suns baseball games, should be aware that part of Gator Bowl Boulevard in front of Metro Park will be closed for Rockville.

The Sheriff's Office said Rockville patrons are encouraged to park east of EverBank Field. They said concert goers should remember that Bay Street is not a through street to Talleyrand if they are coming from the Acosta or Main Street bridges. Coming from that direction, drivers should take Union Street east to the Sports Complex exit.

For the Greek festival and Suns games, parking is available in the garages and lots west of the stadium.

The Sheriff's Office said Kevin Hart tour attendees are encouraged to pick-up their tickets from the Arena Box Office before Saturday. Those going to the show should take the downtown exit from the Hart Bridge or the Albert Street to A. Phillip Randolph or Washington Street to Duval Street exits from the Mathews Bridge.

According to the Florida Department of Transportation, maintenance work continues on the Main Street Bridge, which will be completely closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday. When the bridge reopens on Saturday, the outside lanes of the bridge are scheduled to remain closed in both directions, so traffic will be slow.

Also, JEA project work will be suspended so that Union Street and Liberty Street will be open this weekend.
