The man's face was covered with a bandana when an employee said he grabbed her by her hair and pulled her to a nearby cash register while he held a "kitchen type" knife in his other hand.

According to a police report, the employee called out for a co-worker, who was in the back of the store. The man then yelled, "Stay away! I'll cut her if you come any closer!"

The woman said the man told her to put money from the register into plastic grocery bags, and became impatient when she started filling them with coins. The man said he only wanted the bills, the report stated.

When the woman finished filling the bags with cash, the man grabbed them and ran out of the store. Police said he was last seen heading westbound on Old Highway 90 West.

Crime Stoppers will pay a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. The number to call is 210-224-STOP (7867). Callers may remain anonymous.
