Simmons was in critical condition since early Saturday morning when she was hit by one of dozens of bullets fired into her 13-year-old friend's home. That teen, Jazmine Shelton, died immediately. Three others in the home survived.

A viewing for Jazmine will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home on Normandy Boulevard, and her funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Paxon Revival Center Church.

Police made another plea Thursday for tips and information from the public. They said some information has come in, but no one has identified a shooter.

Police believe there were at least two, if not more, people who fired shots.

Crime Stoppers has increased the reward for information leading to an arrest to $4,000, hoping to get some leads in the case. Anyone with any information that could help find the gunman is asked to call 866-845-TIPS.
