Rally for justice for security guard killed on duty

Security guard murdered while on duty in company truck

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Her murder remains unsolved, but Brenda Williamson's family and the community aren't giving up on seeing justice done.

The security guard was killed on duty August 1 while sitting in her company truck near the McDonald's off J. Turner Butler Boulevard near Interstate 95.

Friday night, the group MAD DADS held a candlelight vigil to help keep this case in the spotlight.

Joined by close friends, Williamson's husband had a message for the people who took his wife from him.

"She was more than my wife," said Arnold Williamson. "She was my life. She was everything to me. If JSO doesn't get ya, God will. One way or the other."

If you have any information that can help solve this murder... you're asked to call Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.  You don't have to give your name and you could receive a reward if an arrest is made.
