JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

A federal grand jury has indicted a 62-year-old Jacksonville man on two counts of possessing child pornography.

If convicted, William Baker faces 10-20 years in federal prison and a potential life term of supervised release for each count.

Baker was arrested Monday and made his first appearance in court. His arraignment is scheduled for Thursday afternoon.

The indictment alleges that on or about May 29, Baker was found to be in possession of visual images depicting minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

According to court documents, Baker is a registered sex offender who was previously convicted of lewd and lascivious conduct with a child younger than 16 on Nov. 22, 1995.
